章 39: Unloving The Douchebag

Selena's POV

"What happened?" My dad asked me right away before I could even put the paper bags on the sofa of our cute living room. I felt so tired from shopping, mostly window shopping. I only bought some clothes that would please my sister.

"Dad, I don't want to talk about it," I replied as I sat beside him, and I knew I upset him, but my father still looked at me with understanding.

He was wearing pajamas and I was sure he was on his way to sleep, but he waited for me to come home, and I felt guilty.

"Okay, but if you need to unload your negative feelings, you can always count on me, sweetheart," he responded as he beamed at me.

"Okay, dad, I know I can always count on you," I responded.

"Good night, daddy," I said and kissed his cheeks before I retire to my room.
