Peral was dealt with, and all I needed was to take care of the men coming to me to take Peral away from me.

I thought Matthew was smart enough not to make a mistake, but I guess I was the one committing a mistake here.

It was my fault for stopping the people from killing him, I shouldn't have shown mercy. But, it's still not too late, I will make sure he dies now.

I glanced at Peral and noticed her watching out of the car, God knows what she is seeing, it's all pitch dark around us. I drove as fast as we could. I couldn't let anyone lay their hands on Peral, she is my responsibility, and I will protect her. 

As expected, there were people waiting for us in the middle of the road, to be frank for an instant I clearly thought about racing my car and crashing it, but I couldn't, Peral was still with me and one wrong move would make me lose her, and I am not ready for that.
