章 79: Look who’s at the door (part one)

Valentine was finally in the middle of the pile of documents that he had to go through today before it was lunchtime, and since mistakes were fatal when there was so much money involved in anything he needed to sign, he kept taking small breaks, mostly watching over Summer in the room next to him. She seemed to be very immersed in the meeting that her department was conducting with the Chief Finance Officer from the upper managerial floors, and he looked forward to hearing what the meeting was all about with words that came directly from her mouth this time.

'She's so passionate about everything that she does,' he noted to himself looking at her in one of the short mental breaks that he was taking today.
