Meanwhile, it was already late at night, still, no news was gotten from those who went after Zale, leaving their employer worried.

As much as Fearghal wished to complain, he could not do anything and waited like everyone else.

To him, this was a simple case and not something that should take them too long to achieve.

Zale was one man and they were four of his best and most ruthless men. Killing him should have been an easy task.

He shook his head, letting his hand slide down his face as his gaze was sent forward to the door.

He had hopes that any moment from then they would come over and report the case being handled but when he waited and got nothing still, Fearghal called for a new set of men.

"Which route did they take?"

"Master, they went towards the old lane at the end of the village. Although we do not know why it seemed like the target was suspiciously moving about."
