章 36: Chapter Thirty Six

I place Arya on the bed and she is sound asleep. Penelope woke up in the middle of the ride and Eric's mate is still equally as traumatized as Arya. We found Eric waiting for us in the living room, and he was so overjoyed to see his mate and sister safe. He carried his mate into his arms and cuddled her in his chest on a sofa in the living room trying to wake her up gently. He missed her though he was trying to be calm and not make her the issue of concern when we were planning to rescue them.

Jex carried Kate away to a room. I don't know what is between them but I guess they are friends since they are both Arya's friends.

Arya coils immediately when I put her on the bed. I can't imagine the kind of trauma she has been going through for these last two days. She looks like she hasn't eaten or drunk anything for that look. Her lips are dry and cracked, her skin is pale and bruised with small wounds on her arms and legs that seem to be healing so gradually.
