章 35: Chapter Thirty Five

As per Donovan's instructions, I am supposed to come on my own. I am not stupid though. I have brought my backup. Jordan and Jex have come with me, but they have remained in a vehicle a good distance from the building.

Following the directions, I find a white two-story building on the outskirts of the city. Surrounded by a small area of wood and a remote human settlement.

I am ushered inside by a redhead vampire without any word exchange. Donovan is waiting for me inside, fitted comfortably on a green couch in the center of what seems to be the living room.

"I am glad you made it," he says when I come in. A smile spreads on his lips.

You must be glad you mother-fucker!

"Have a seat," he offers, waving to the other empty sofa in front of the one he is.
