When Zhong Peng opened his eyes once again, he was greeted by the same darkness that had engulfed him before he had drifted off to sleep.

The darkness was a sign that it was still the middle of the night and that the sun had not yet risen to light up the world. 

Feeling himself about to fall deep into slumber again, he decided to shake off the drowsiness that was threatening to overcome him.

He knew that he could not afford to sleep any longer, not when he was being targeted by the tree-type qi beast.

The white fog that had been swirling around the room had already started to appear once again, and Zhong Peng knew that it was the tree-type qi beast that was responsible for them.

But Zhong Peng was not one to be caught off-guard.

He had been preparing himself for this moment and was determined not to let his guard down.

He knew that the tree-type qi beast would only target him when he was sleeping or not alert, so he remained calm.
