章 63: He Was Impersonating Gabriel

While Gabriel was busy with his vacation, his fill-in had taken over his role back in the city. Kelvin Hawkins, not that anyone knew him by that name here since he was pretending to be Gabriel Alistair, was seated in the garden, sipping his tea. 

Although everything happened as if it was yesterday it has been months since Gabriel approached him. At first, the proposal sounded utterly ridiculous to him, what does he mean by taking his place? However, out of the candidates that had been selected, he was the only one whose physique came close to resembling Gabriel. 

He refused at first, knowing the risk involved with impersonation, however, Gabriel assured him that he was not in danger of the law considering he was the one that approached him for the job. Before he agreed to do it, he had Gabriel sign the agreement that he wouldn't be sued if the plan fell through and he was found with the crime of impersonation.
