Nicholas listened intently as each team shared their discoveries. The sense of being watched, the unfinished rune, the hidden workshop, the dark artifacts, and the map—all pieces of a puzzle they had yet to solve.

Lyle nodded, his expression serious. "The rune Harrison and Londar found is particularly troubling. If it's part of a larger network, it could be the key to how the enemy is able to monitor us and the townsfolk."

"A monitoring array?" Londar asked while Lyle and Nicholas both shook their heads.
