章 96: Trust

It wasn't until Wendell took center stage and received the official title of heir from Alpha Vincent, did her heart waver. Even then, she wondered if this was all a ruse. After the ceremony was over, a massive dinner was held for everyone who attended.

Many wolves came forward to congratulate Wendell on his official recognition ceremony. Though Alpha Vincent had no plans in the near future to retire from his position, it was a clear indication that he would pass his title on to his son.

Safira was at the table with them too. She felt a little uncomfortable without Greyson, Archer, or Amarna by her side but she made the best of her situation. She was looking forward to returning to Obsidian Howl to see Damien again.

She had a bad gut feeling about the situation and she wished to return as soon as possible to put her doubts to rest. When the dinner was complete, the wolves danced the night away. Safira lingered on the side of the dance floor with a glass of wine in her hands.
