' Have I invited a crazy person to the team? ' Rena couldn't help but look at Mon in amazement. Yes, it was violent, but to her it was a good sign of competence and also loyalty, saving not only himself but the reputation of her whole group.
Reign, however, didn't have the nicest stares out there looking at Mon with extreme hatred.
" You can't fucking take this away from me..." That is probably what you're saying, aren't you?
He was someone who wasn't strong, authority didn't work back home only in this place is he king, and someone like me and Rena is taking it away from him.
" Mon Weise, wins! "Mr. Froil shouts followed by a small laugh as he seems to find the events interesting.
" I've been fighting in the front line for years, and I can't help but find all this child play so entertaining. " He crazily laughs out loud, all while looking at us with a gaze full of entertainment.
He stands up putting his hands behind his back as he started to walk towards me. He puts his hands on my shoulders, whispering something to me.
"This is going to be a bloody battlefield… But it seems like that's what you want don't you… "
!
…
I couldn't help but flinch at what he meant by that. He knows what I was doing, and I was clearly messing with the hierarchy of all the students in Sense. That isn't just child play that involves children, these are the prospects and heads of full-grown corporations, and someone like me is diving straight into the pit.
"Don't worry you're in the middle of Sense, no one would be able to lift a finger against you from the outside world. But just think twice if what you're doing is worth it… kekekeke " He laughs as he approaches the bruised Jian on the floor.
I know I'd be safe in Sense, but if you let everyone know that, I wouldn't be someone under Rena, I would be someone trying to destroy everyone essentially being the number one enemy of an entire class of young masters.
...
Mr. Froil didn't bother to look back and decided to bring Jian to the med ward in an instant.
" Alright, let's proceed... "
The fight continued longer, and many people on Reign's side wanted to challenge me. In which I accepted but ultimately surrendered as I would fail to win against that many guardians, who are in Class 1B, now that they know my ability fairly well.
Though, it seems like they didn't realize that as they thought I was just pissing them off more by surrendering instantly, which honestly worked. Jian was one of the stronger duelist students on their side, but it became a one-sided beating.
The ranking system however was proven to be useless in picking a class leader, as both parties refused to battle each other.
" Alright after a few fights, we've got a decent layout of strength which will be used for future group activities. Just know that all sides and friendships are pointless here, as you might be grouped with someone you hate a lot. Remember, strength is everything in this world. " He says with a calm yet threatening voice.
Shit, I nearly forgot he was a teacher based on how he acted, but that level of strength is clearly something out of my reach... at least for now.
" Class, Go back to our room. "
It was only the first period, but damn that was tiring.
Anyways the class rank was sent to us on our phones, and It's quite hilarious if I may say so myself.
Participants: 34
Class Rank:
1 - Rena Mein
2 - Reign Hart
3 - James Proon
4 - Alexa Allan
...
33 - Mon Weise
34 - Jian Yian
A strong prospect of Reign's team is dead last. Surpassed by what most people think of as a Wanderer.
This is ought to be entertaining.
The plan has finally started. I've set my pieces in place, waiting for the best outcome. I knew the future, and this is only a small section, not even mentioned fully in the story.
Yet here I am caught under someone's scheme as an unknown prospect appears on the other side.
I'm not sure how this will affect my plans, whether it's just mere luck or a misunderstanding, but If that unknown factor isn't that simple, I need to make that factor known.
Though, if he isn't incompetent. The trap I just set isn't something he'd just ignore. It's the perfect opening, for targeting a kid. A normal kid who doesn't know the future that is.
...
" Now that everyone's here. I can see that some of you are happy with the results of that mock battle huh? I can't say the same for everyone though... " Froil chuckles as he looks at the distraught class's crumbling hierarchy.
" Anyways, your schedules should've been sent to your phones just a few seconds ago. Go and check what your next class is and come back here when it says so. "
The schedules of the students here were all personalized according to the student's talents, weaknesses, and also things they need more improvement. These schedules were based on the entrance exam that occurred during the enrollment stage. Something I wasn't able to do so my whole schedule was a mess. I mean there were still some classes here, which includes strategy making, leadership improvement, and also Post Apocalyptic technologies. They were all classes that supports needs on the battlefield.
" Everyone can go now, except student Mon. "
...
" Since you suddenly and magically manifested an ability, the staff are still building up a new schedule for you. " Mr. Froil looks at me suspiciously like he was asking why did I hide my ability and how did I get one while being a Wanderer.
" I only realized yesterday... "
Technically, I was saying the truth, just with some missing details.
" I'm not here to interrogate you, I'm sure someone would call for you when the time comes. I can't just mess with a person with so much fame like you. " He rose from his seat with a small smirk.
" You can go to any class you want for now. I'll inform you when your schedule is available. " He escapes from the room, waving his hands.
Tsk...
It's faster than I thought. I knew showing off my ability would get me a lot of attention from people I don't want to interact with. I'm sure they would publish this to the media, gaining more traction for the school, aside from the Pillars.
It's going to be annoying when I go out, but it's not like I'm losing everything.
I would've been lowkey with my approach if this attention-seeking system didn't exist.
Anyways, I have to go to a class now since I can't just loiter around without any purpose.
I could use the energy conservation class, as this ability tires me so quickly, that I doubt I'll be able to rely on it every single time...
The combat techniques class?
Maybe... I do need to improve on a lot of things.
But I already have an idea of where to go already.
Hunting and Battlefield Class.
The class where all the first arc starts.
" Should I dive inside a warzone? "
