"Zhao Ting..." He softly called her.

"I don't want to... I don't want... I want to keep my baby.." she weakly mumbled before he could say anything.

He sat down on the bed beside her gazing into her dim eyes, he didn't want to think about what-ifs, he just couldn't do anything, his hands were tied.

He gently wiped her tears as he gazed to the left, he just couldn't save this situation that was the only traumatizing thing he wouldn't forget.

"Zhao Ting, how about you undergo an operation..." He held her right hand suggesting, he didn't want to lose her but he didn't have any options, he was left with none.. apart from watching her.

"No, I don't want to..." She declined, her baby couldn't be prematurely detached from her, and she had to hold on.

"Okay.." he gave up knowing that he couldn't convince her otherwise.

He kneaded her hands gently before standing up and exiting the wardroom, he needed some space, he wanted to calm down and think positively.
