"Why me? It's not the SDC's responsibility anymore. We intervene before such incidents occur, not after," Philippa protested.

"That's our job. We have to find whatever evidence the culprit left on her body, whatever it is. Once we find the culprit, we'll use any means necessary to extract a confession," Allen asserted.

"I don't understand. Didn't you turn a blind eye to this sort of thing before?" one of the SDC members questioned.

"Not anymore," Allen affirmed, his gaze firm.
