After establishing initial contact, a meeting was scheduled between Victor, representing a financial group, and Xu, one of the Communist Party leaders.

 The next afternoon.

  The Communist Party representative, Mr. Xu, arrived in Hong Kong and met Victor at a small villa.

  "Hello, Mr. Victor. I'm Xu Manyan," the middle-aged man greeted warmly, shaking Victor's hand with both hands.
