章 107: The Hunt Part 1

"What are you talking about Daxy?!" Fey asked, a look of shock and concern painted her face, which was still swollen from her tears. "The elves started the war?"

"Yeah." Dax replied. "Turns out they felt like they were the superior race and deserved to rule over all others after the monster king was defeated. I don't know how the humans won, but they did."

"Why is our history so different?" Fey asked. "You would think that would be something that would be remembered correctly."

"History can be rewritten if you wait long enough, and elves live much longer lives than humans." Dax explained. "At least that is what the elves told me, well more specially my old master."

"You met your old master?" Fey asked. "He was in this village?"

"Yes." Dax replied. "I have a feeling that the lich just now… was him. He was holding a staff that looked just like that when I saw him."

"Daxy…" Fey said, unsure what to really say.
