章 59: Stay the Night Part 2

"Dax, why don't you show Fey to her room for the night." Helen said after wiping her mouth of any morsels that remained.

"Alright." Dax said, standing up from the table. "Are you finished eating?"

"Yes." Fey said, her salad was completely gone. She stood up as well to follow Dax upstairs. "Did Drakie like it?"

"He did." Dax said as he looked over to where Drakie was. He was sitting on his hind parts supporting himself up with his tail. His eyes were closed, and he rubbed his belly with his hands. "I would say he enjoyed it quite a bit."

"That's good." Fey said. "I am glad I could show him there is more to life than pancakes."

Drakie opened one eye to glance at Fey. Her comment about pancakes got his attention. "Drakie will always love pancakes the best." He said. Then he closed his eyes again and continued his ritual of rubbing his stomach. His reaction to Fey's comment made Dax shake his head and give a small laugh.
