"The entire truth?" She asked as she stared at his broad back. "What is the entire truth? What do you reckon I am not telling you?"

He paused for a moment as if he truly didn't know what to say. However, he turned to her, "Hazel, you have to trust me no matter what."

'To hell with you!' she almost uttered.

How could she trust him when she knew the purpose of the mating ceremony? That he was going to destroy her?

"I am the one to tell you that, Lucifel. Even after telling you all these, you still do not trust me."

"That is because if you did trust me, you would have told me before I asked, Hazel. You would have. Whatever that bastard of a thing had told you was a lie! And he only meant to turn you against me. He knew that..." He wanted to say something but then immediately, as if he couldn't find words to say he stopped.

Rosella didn't dare put whatever she saw and noticed behind her. She took a step closer to him and then said, "He knew what?"

"He knew that..." he trailed.
