章 12: Chapter 12: Puppy Love

As Chase grew more relaxed with the pack again Morgan changed his schedule a bit. He had him working with Korrin more than he had when he first arrived and Chase couldn't help but think back to his question over dinner.

‘Do you want children?’ Morgan had asked casually.

Chase still wasn't sure what to make of that. He still wasn't sure how that was a relevant question, he didn't know why Morgan had asked him so suddenly. The more he thought about it though the more appealing the idea was.

He found himself thinking about it at inconvenient times. He’d be in the middle of cleaning and the question would invade his thoughts, demanding his attention. He’d even dreamed about it one night and had woken up slightly confused about it.

His mind was wandering as he sat at the dining room table with Morgan to eat breakfast before he went out to the nursery to help out. He hadn't realized he’d zoned out until Morgan spoke and startled him out of his reverie.
