"Apparently, from all the reports we have and from the information provided by our spies, Varesh is taking his time while waiting for us to destroy ourselves first before he deals the final blow." Jadon summarized everything they had talked about for the last two hours, and everyone nodded.

"That's good then. Since he already has an expectation, we are going to do just what he wants." Veron stated, his unreadable expression remained unchanged.

His statement brought confusion to the hearts and faces of some of the people present, but to Celeste, the very sound of his voice sent irritation shooting through her.

That was the second time he was speaking in the meeting, and just like the first time, she wished he would just shut up and not say another word until she leaves.
