章 131: I can't wait any longer

That evening, Nori persisted until Karina decided to eat something. However, what she ate could be likened to eating nothing because of how small a quantity it was. 

The only reason Nori let her be was that she accompanied the food with a full glass of milk and decided she was full.

A few minutes after, Karina fell asleep again. This worried Nori as she had only woken up about three hours ago. Still, she didn't bother her and just let her sleep.

Stepping out of the room, she met Gideon on the stairs, only this time, he was climbing up, not sitting as was his usual practice. She didn't know they were back, so it took her by surprise. 

"You're back. I was looking for you." Nori said, slowing down her steps and stopping when she got to the step right above the one on which he stood. He had also slowed down and eventually stopped when he caught sight of her coming down.
