章 86: Start of the tournament
Xu Shuang followed the clerk to the waiting lounge as she waited for her match to start.

The tall man's martial spirit is a black monitor lizard, his body became covered with smooth black scales, his hands turned into sharp claws while a black tail popped out behind him.
He crouched down on all fours just like a real lizard as 5 spirit rings floated up from under him, 1 white, 1 yellow, and 3 purple spirit rings.
Yet all were shocked when they saw Xu Shuang's spirit ring configuration, the reaction was super intense when they saw the 1 yellow, 2 purple, and 2 black spirit rings rising from under her.
"What if it's two black spirit rings, you're just a brat with no fighting experience." He cursed under his breath as his first spirit ring lit up and he disappeared on the ring.
Xu Shuang's eyes glowed gold as she instantly found the man slowly crawling towards her with a vicious glint in his eyes.
Although she did not practice most of the techniques in the Xuantian records, she still practiced some practical techniques like the purple demon eye and the mysterious jade hand.

After getting back her badge from the counter she left with the three others and went back to the dormitory.
A few days then passed and today marks the start of the Continental Elite Spirit Academy Tournament and the area inside and outside the Colosseum is jam-packed with people.
And many teams from all over the Heaven Dou Empire, the genius teams of many advanced academies gathered inside the Colosseum.
Xu Shuang walked in followed by the other members of the Royal Combat Team, she's just here to see the other teams since their team will go straight to the quarter-finals.
Just as they walked to the fourth floor of the Colosseum which is reserved for the big wigs and the teams that are participating in the qualifying match, they saw a rather interesting sight.

While Xu Shuang watched all of this with interest while thinking to herself, how could Shrek win all the way without absorbing any fairy herbs?
They may not even pass the qualifiers at their current level, Xu Shuang chuckled when she saw the spirit power level of the 11.
There are only three people with the cultivation of Spirit Ancestor being Tang San, Dai Mubai, and Tai Long, the rest are all Spirit Elders.
The officiant on the side of the VIP platform said in a clear voice:
