When doing Belle's makeup, David couldn't help but look into her eyes. He thought that Belle was wearing contact lenses because her eye color seemed to change. However, no matter how much he looked at it, the colors looked very natural. 

Ceres knew what bothered the man in front of her, though she never really cared. She completely ignored his curious gaze and just focused on how she should act later. 

"Are you not upset that you couldn't be with your boyfriend because of your work?" David asked her to get out of the awkward atmosphere with Belle. "It's his birthday today, right? I'll be going there after sending you to Luiz." 

"Eli knows my priorities. You should know about my situation, right?" 

"Uh-huh." 

"Honestly, I was hoping that Luiz would give me a break today so I could go there," Ceres stated, playing Belle's role to stop David's suspicions. "He gave me a leeway though. I can leave early to spend time with Eli."
