章 250: BUTTERFLIES

Embarrassed by his words, Belle and Eli left immediately. No one talked, but Eli was holding her hand as they made their way to the elevator. Their faces were red and luckily, the mall was about to close already, so there weren't that a lot of customers anymore. 

When they finally got out of the mall, Belle took a deep breath and sighed in relief. Then, everything came as a replay inside her mind and she got embarrassed even more. Never in her wildest dream did she ever think that Eli likes her? How many times did she deny her feelings for him just to fool herself into forgetting him? She already prepared herself to move on. 

[I've been telling you about it.] Ceres commented inside Belle's mind while Eli opened the car door for her. [You wouldn't just believe me.] 

(How could you expect me to believe you when I spent more time with Eli compared to you? I have known him for quite a while and it was not a secret that he likes or liked Jillyanna Madrigal.)
