Inside the palace courtroom, the ministers were discussing what to do. They never expected that the royal guards will be killed by a single person. Since most of the soldiers were sent to battle, not many stayed back to protect the palace. After all, they didn't expect that one of their own soldiers would come back and hunt them down. 

Ulric was like death himself. Everywhere he went, he would take the life of whoever stood in his way. His sword was dripping with blood, leaving traces on the palace ground. His armor was also covered in blood and grime, but they didn't hamper his movement. 

He kept going. 

"Where is your king?" he asked the palace maid that he came across. Since most servants fled already, no one was watching them at this moment thus, the palace maid pointed her finger in the courtroom direction.
