When Belle returned to the office after the call ended, Dr. Larry was no longer there. Eli was also packing his things since it was almost time to go home. She picked up her bag as well as the gift that Dr. Larry gave her and waited for Eli to wrap up everything. 

"Eli," she called for his attention, and he only glanced at her before going back to what he was doing. "Can I leave Neon to you this Sunday? Jackson and I planned to visit the temple that we went to last time. He wanted to speak to a monk for some personal reason." 

"Okay," Eli agreed after giving it some thought. 

On their way home, he carefully planned how he could get her to cancel this trip with Jackson. [Why the hell does it have to be her?! That man must be planning something!]
