章 87: ELI: THE LATE BLOOMER

Due to her injury, lunch was a little bothersome for Belle. She was eating with Eli inside his office, and it was the most disturbing lunch she ever had with him until this moment. Another reason was probably their food. They got fried fish for their lunch, chicken curry, shrimp tempura, and stir-fried vegetables. Of course, lunch wouldn't be complete without white rice. 

Eli took Belle's portion of fried fish, and she was a little taken aback by his action. Yet, when she saw what he did, she couldn't stop her heart from feeling so touched. He was getting rid of the fish bones for her. 

"Let me know if you need something else. I'll get them for you," Eli reminded her while putting the boneless fish back into Belle's lunch box. "Don't hesitate to order me around." 

"I wouldn't go that far," Belle mumbled before putting food into her mouth and slowly chewed on it. "Thank you, Eli." 

"No problem," he responded with a wide grin on his face.
