章 72: The Last Survivor

A soldier ran through the forest, gasping for air. Gunshots and explosions rang out in the distance, but he could only hear the heart hammering in his chest.
After running for thirty minutes straight, he had to stop to catch his breath. Exhausted and terrified, a single thought kept running through his mind.
<What the hell is happening inside the forest?>
Something unbelievable was happening—different Thaids' species were moving together toward New Alexandria. These creatures usually fought each other, but now they were walking peacefully side by side.
The man only had one mission, and that was to get back to New Alexandria to tell his commanders what he saw in the forest.
He already made a report, but he was interrupted in the middle of it by the monsters that were now chasing him.
"Damn it! This is insane!"

PilgrimJagger Reworked. This chapter had another character's POV. I understand some people were unhappy with the large number of these kinds of chapters in the first volume. I will remove some of them, particularly those related to the tournament. However, chapters like this one are important and need to be kept for plot reasons.
