Emily's consciousness faded, and within moments, she found herself transported into an unforgiving land.
She was engulfed by a vast jungle, which she didn't recognize.
The air was humid, as if a large body of water was nearby. There was also a weird smell and some kind of sounds coming from the distance.
Emily was disoriented, not only because of where she was but also because of the weird feelings she had every time she went into one of her visions.
She felt as if she was swimming into a body of water, but the problem was that the currents were often strong, and she felt as if she could be swept away at a moment's notice.
That, and the fact her body was nothing more than a wisp, similar to smoke; ethereal, unable to mold or influence her surroundings.
This chapter has been revised. Please note that the fighting style of the man has changed compared to before. As I haven't made any changes to the following chapter yet, there might be some differences. Tomorrow, I will address these inconsistencies and ensure that they are resolved in Chapter 62.
