"When were they last seen?"
"Two days ago. Their last known location was at school."
"Understood, ma'am."
The officer reached into a drawer, retrieving a tablet and handing it to her.
"For us to assist, you'll need to sign these documents. It's a standard procedure to request police involvement."
The worried parents went to the police station to report their missing children. Upon arrival, the interviewing officer emphasized the importance of knowing whether the children had reported anything unusual before their disappearance.
None of the teens had talked about problems at home. Logan kept silent about Erik humiliating him. Conal and Orson didn't get injured that much, and like Logan, they felt ashamed he beat them, so they didn't talk either.

PilgrimJagger Hello! Here's another reworked chapter for you. In the previous version, Erik didn't use the system to its full potential in order to make money, which I now realize was a missed opportunity. I have rectified this and made the changes, as it was foolish to have such a capable A.I and not take advantage of it.
I sincerely hope that my long-time readers can forgive me for this oversight. Throughout the past year, I have gained insights and knowledge while continuing with the plot. I am going to improve this book using that knowledge and I hope new readers will appreciate the efforts I am putting into refining it. I apologize for not making these changes earlier.
