It felt good to be kissing him again, particularly after all the arguing and anger. I never really hated him, just got supremely annoyed but not to the point I didn’t love him anymore. He could be a hard-headed bastard, but that was just part of his damage and baggage of having the father he had. He had his and I had mine.

Most of what made me mad was his refusal to see not only what was going on with me but how scared I was about it, even if he didn’t know exactly why.

Even after the incident with the mole, his first reaction was to push me away, and then go quiet, like he was scared of me. Which was fair enough I guess, considering even I didn’t know exactly how dangerous I could be, but I was getting a better idea.

None of that mattered the moment I kissed him. Everything that had happened the last few weeks, and before that, melted away, leaving only love, and a good bit of lust.
