I dreamed of essences. Flashes of meaning and power welled up from the spring of my soul, illustrating five different concepts. The first, The Breeder, was like a hentai come to life. Beautiful women and men, rutting away with a primal purpose. Bellies swelling with new life. Perfect offspring all with the purpose of inheriting my genes, my powers, my essence.
The second, The King, was a leader among men. One step past perfection in everything they did. Always leading by example. Never giving up as they strove for the best for their people. Their bloodline granted them great strength, but it did not define them. Their actions were what defined them, what labeled them as an Emperor of Mankind. An essence that made men bend the knee, and women swoon and follow.
The third, The Binding, a connection that could not be broken. A string of fate that connected individuals together into a greater whole. Loyalty, Devotion, and Power flowed through the bond. Thoughts and Emotions were shared freely as the bonds grew. A string of lights standing against the dark, reinforcing each other. Safety in others, someone to fall back on, someone to trust wholeheartedly. The essence of freedom in bondage.
The fourth, The Mage, a genius beyond compare. Impossible things made possible by willpower and knowledge. Rewriting one's destiny through their strength of magic and soul. An energy wellspring constantly overflowing with whatever was needed. A Teacher to all those who would listen. A Student of the Greater Universe. The essence of knowledge and its eternal pursuit.
The last was the most confusing, yet I could tell it held the most potential. A blankness that seemed to encompass everything stretched on forever. Knowledge unhindered. Skills unmatched. The feeling of limits removed. The infinity of potential that lay within a soul. The essence of always moving forwards, progress regardless of the obstacles. The Blank.
