The next person coming in was a young man with clear blue eyes and black hair, his build was a little thinner than the average 18-year-old but didn't look unhealthy in the slightest. This man was Kain Willis, known as Blue Sword, a swordsman in-game.
Kain was your average 18-year-old gaming addict, he just so happened to be better at it than 99% of other gamers. Kain didn't have anything special to tell James apart from the fact that just like Ray, he also managed to reach the first realm in the realms of truth while taking the quest.
Kain's personal tasks were also the same as Ray's, since they were both physical classes the magician subclass was less important than to an Elementalist, but in preparation for more magical skills and of course the creation of their Mana Body, it was necessary that they at least started on the path of magic arrays.
When telling Kain about the secret of God's domain he had a reaction that James hadn't expected, he was relieved. Not really knowing what to make of the situation James asked Kain what this was about, apparently, he was getting quite bored when he realized how far ahead, we were in comparison to anyone else in our world, so having millions of worlds of competition made him rather happy.
James couldn't help but reminisce about his younger days in god's domain when he heard Kain say that, he too was always looking for the next challenge, but unlike him, Kain couldn't find that on their tiny planet.
Sending Kain away with a firm handshake and reassurance from him that he would stay with James on this big adventure. James waited for the next and final member of Olivia's team.
That member walked through the door only a couple of seconds after Kain left, she seemed to be waiting nervously at the door the whole time. The second she moved through the door though this nervousness was seemingly instantly replaced by confidence which was rather amusing to James.
Walking to his desk was a rather tall young woman called Carla Francis, her in-game name was Violet Jade, she was the cleric and only healer in the party. She had light purple eyes that complemented her dark purple hair quite well.
She didn't have anything special to report about her quest, just like the rest she had gotten the SS grade and found no items. The only particular part was that she seemed to really be trying to hold up a façade of protectionism in front of James which he could see through in an instant as a Mental Martial arts Grandmaster.
The plan he gave her for her development in the near future was the same as Marie's, although he had way higher expectations from her than from Marie. In his last life, Carla was known not only through the starlight realm, but in other realms too for her incredible skill in battle as a mage. She was the first known mage to have ever dectuple cast spells of her own Tier, and octuple silent cast. She later revealed that this was only due to luck and good circumstances, admitting that it would be impossible to recreate for at least another 50 years, but that didn't matter to the people, that she even managed to do such an incredible feat at all was enough for her to be ranked within the top 10 strongest battle witches, only 3 places behind Charlotte.
When telling her about the Greater World Carla had a slight panic attack but after some reassuring words from James and some time to cool off, she seemed to be doing much better and was all on board.
Now that all the members of Olivia's team were dealt with could James move on to his next commander, Brown bear.
Stepping in the hallway for a second, he called Rick over for his meeting, just like Olivia, he would conduct the meeting with him before the others.
Only a few minutes later did the big man with blue eyes and short brown hair step into James's office. He carried himself professionally like always, only this time it seemed that a little smile crept through that professional appearance.
"So, Rick, how did the quest go?"
"Pretty good I would say. I managed to get the SSS grade just like you told us to and got 50 Legacy skill points, I didn't get any items or the like though."
Rick's report was short and compact like you would expect from him.
"That's good, now you probably already heard from Olivia that I will be giving some personal goals that I want all players to achieve. There are two things I have in store for you, the first of them being reaching, at the very minimum, the Advanced Magician level, I would prefer it if you reached the Master rank but that can be left for later. The second thing is, is that I want you to reach 90% completion with all your skills once I unlock the free combat system."
Rick nodded with a hint of excitement.
"What's up Rick, you're excited about magic arrays, wouldn't expect that."
James said in a joking tone.
"Yes, I am. Very much in fact. From the way I understand it, from Tier 3 onwards we can see big differences in players mainly through mana and the way we manipulate it. Anything from magic attack to one of the most important things, the strength of your mana body. So, I'm just very excited to set myself apart from the rest."
James was rather impressed, he hadn't put that much on it in their guides, he planned on telling them in person when the preparation for Tier 3 started. That Rick already knew this was probably because he read the guide extremely well and did some experimentation in-game for himself. Any magic class figured it out by now that wasn't a surprise, but that Rick could see the debt and complexity of using mana to manipulate the elements was really a wonder.
"I'm impressed Rick, you're right, with the classes I have planned for you guys if you manage to become a master, or in some special cases even a grandmaster magician you will be able to create a much stronger mana body. That will no doubt elevate your strength to a whole other level and create a solid foundation for your Tier 5 mana body. "
James was planning on completing the mythic quest before they even reached Tier 2 to give everyone some World Authority. This would give them a much easier time reaching the Master, or even the Grandmaster magician level before they would start on creating their Tier 3 Mana Body.
"I'm planning on telling the secret behind God's domain to your members, do you think any of them will have a problem believing me or abandon the guild when they hear it."
Rick stayed quiet for a second before replying.
"No, all of them already question that the green god's company would be able to make this incredible of a game. Their suspicions became even bigger when through intensive battle in-game their mental strength would exhaust and even increase if only by a fraction."
James nodded, it seemed that Rick's suspicious and facts-driven personality had rubbed off on his students, which was in no way a bad thing.
"You may leave rick, call the next member in."
Only a few minutes later a girl with white hair and black eyes came strolling into his office, she was Elissa Roach, also known as Gentle Smile, a cursemancer. Unlike previous members she didn't seem the least bit nervous to report to James, she just strolled in and sat down.
Her whole report was the same as all the members' before, nothing special. Her tasks weren't anything noteworthy either, it was the same as the 2 mage players that had already come across his office earlier.
Just like Rick said she wasn't too surprised when she heard about the greater world, nor excited, she didn't show many emotions in general. That didn't matter to James though, as long as she was still on his side, he was good.
The next person to come in was Fleur Macintyre, or Blue Phoenix, the oracle and healer of the brown bear's team. James had to admit that she truly looked like the picture-perfect oracle, she had long golden hair and deep blue eyes. Her personality was on point too, she seemed to have a permanent kind smile on her face.
Her kind personality also showed when at the end, when James told her about the secret behind God's domain, instead of worrying about herself she started reassuring James that he could do it.
The third member of Rick's team was Abbie Combs, an Elementalist named Lonely eye, she was a rather small young woman with black hair and black eyes. Walking into his office, James first thought that she was rather shy, but when the report got on its way, he realized that he had been mistaken. She wasn't shy in particular, she just wasn't that much of a talkative person, coupled with her small stature and lack of showing emotion it was easy to make that mistake.
This thought was further reaffirmed when he told her about the greater world and asked her if she still wanted to join him. Without even a second thought she shook his hand, agreed, and left the room in the same quiet manner that she came in.
The last member of Rick's team seemed to already be waiting outside the door, so he came in right after Abbie left. This young man was Jerry Dawson, better known as a berserker, named Lone Blade, in appearance he looked a lot like Kain from Olivia's team, a typical 18-year-old gamer.
Sitting in front of him, Jerry kept staring at James with almost stars in his eyes, which was a totally different reaction than all the other members had had until now. He looked at James like he was looking at his favorite celebrity for the first time.
Nevertheless, after the novelty wore off Jerry managed to calm down and give his report. The quest went swimmingly just like with the members before him. The personal tasks he received were also the same as the physical fighting classes that came before him.
When it came time for the big reveal Jerry didn't even change his facial expression for a single second, he kept looking at James with a stern look on his face. At the end of it, he told James how much of an honor it was to go on such a big Journey with him, and after that, he promptly left the room.
Now having met half of the teams, James sank into his chair for a moment before calling the next one, which was Charlotte's team. He still hadn't fully mentally recovered from his 8 days doing intensive battle in his quest but as a Mental Strength Grandmaster, he could still conduct the interviews, even if he was a little tired.
Now having a moment to rest James started thinking about what big things outside their personal training he and his team were going to do during the period between Tier 1 and 2. He had a rough plan which involved the Mythic level quest and the dimensional merchant quest but due to his unexpected gains over the last few days, he could alter them slightly.
The dimensional merchant quest, coupled with the personal quest of Charlotte involving the Void Saint Legacy where the priority, they had to be done. That is because the rewards from Tier 2 onwards increase if you do them with a higher-grade legacy, not having all of the members switch to a powerful legacy before taking the Tier 2 quest would be a waste.
The Mythic quest was optional, but James figured that he might as well check it out with the high stats he has now, he didn't know a lot about the quest, only where to activate it and that it was rumored to have a primordial ore vain as its reward. The sooner he got that ore vein the more Seven Luminaries crystals he could stockpile for later, the world authority that he was pretty confident they'd get was also a nice addition to increase the speed of everyone's magician training.
Now deep in thought, James didn't even notice that Charlotte had taken the initiative and walked into his office after feeling that something was off.
