章 18: It's high time you knew your place

By noon, Tom got to the police head office to meet Colonel Ausborne.

Colonel Ausborne was Jennifer's father. Four years ago, he had made an arrangement which ended up with his only daughter becoming Tom's fiancée, in order for him to enjoy the benefits from Tom's excess wealth. Tom on his own part was willing to date the colonel's daughter because she was sexy and all, as well as benefit solid protection from the police who should be doing more of investigating his affairs. But after a year in which the relationship between her father and Tom had stood a firm ground, Jennifer revealed her true nature.

Tom's stepped out of his tinted black Range Rover and adjusted the collar of his Louis Vuitton suit as he took a gaze at the massive ten-storey police facility.

He matched straight through the entrance and his bodyguards followed suite.

A police guard stopped him at the entrance door.
