章 261: Rough Call?

We unloaded all the groceries and shopping bags from the truck into the house before Benedito got a work call. I knew his work calls took a century and a half so I stayed at my parents' whilst he walked back to my old house. 

"Ma the fridge has food," I looked back as her just as I was about to pack the vegetables she bought, but most of the shelves to the large industrial fridge was packed. 

She looked over my shoulder before she smiled, "I must have been confused."

I stared at her with a smirk before I realized what was going on. She did this on purpose so she could join Benedito and me. "Aw Ma, you're so sneaky," I laughed as I wrapped my arms around her to give her a hug. "If you wanted to hang out you could have just asked me," I kissed her forehead as she looked up to me with a grin.
