章 36: Chapter 36: A Family Affair

When Hannah picked me up, I didn’t expect her to look amazing. While she was wearing a pretty casual outfit, her hair was in fresh braids, her nails were done in a beautiful purple gradient miniature and her makeup looked flawless. I haven’t seen her this done up in a long time.

“Whoa, you look fit as hell…but I don’t really feel like going out.” I put up my hands, telling her that I absolutely don’t want to be kidnapped for a night out. Especially when I feel like I’m about to be sick over Donovan’s missing Alpha Medallion and car.

“I’m practicing my look for my date tomorrow…”

My eyes bulge out. “Date?! With who?” I blurt out.

My stomach flips. Have I been so obsessed with my own life that I didn’t even know that my best friend was dating someone?

“This is a first date, and we kinda met talking online, so I don’t want to make a big deal out of it until I meet him.” My bestie is blushing!
