Efthalia clamps his mouth. He was nearly about to say something that came through his thoughts. 'Did I just say that on my mind?' He was glad that he didn't say it out loud.

That night, they decided to rather take a rest than go out since it was a long journey and they preferred going on an early sleep. After dinner, both were now in their room. Efthalia was on the bed looking through a book he found on the bookshelves while Lucien was taking her bath.

"That reminds me, where is your spirit?" Just after Lucien walked out of the bathroom, Efthalia asked. A spirit can never be away from their master and they were always accompanied where their master goes.

During this entire trip, Efthalia hasn't seen Lucien's spirit. He was aware of his human form and he hadn't seen it since after the wedding. It was strange.
