Which means we need to prepare for an attack to come from anywhere."

"True, but there is little we can do to prepare on such short notice. Like you said, they'll be back, and I would guess they'll be back in a day or two, meaning all we can really do is take to the walls and keep watch. But... maybe put the people onto a schedule, get them doing something again to take their minds off the battle to come. If you want, take them out of the equation for fighting and hide them in the mines. Either way, we should have the Guards remain on the walls and keeping watch over the land as well as the sea."

Brina nodded again, staring at the map for a bit longer before giving Horik some orders, tapping out the points of interest on the map.

After he left to do as she asked, Brina turned towards me and asked "Would you do some scouting for me then? There are a few caves and coves around the shoreline that could be hiding the pirates, as well as some locations that are a bit inland as well that I'd like checked out."

I glanced at Rayya before nodding, giving the Jarl a smile as I said "I am at your service, my Jarl~! After all, I do believe we agreed that I would become a Thane, no?"
