"Not much, I just want you to help me regain what is rightfully mine in the Egyptian Pantheon. Yes, I know you made an alliance with them, but once I take over they will fall under my heel and your alliance will remain with us," Anubis says and I can see the hate filled glare from Alice still on him.
"We will think on it," I say to him before Alice can speak and I open a portal back to where he came from.
"Good, just give me an answer soon or I will assume it is a no," Anubis says before leaving through the portal.
"Tell me why you hate him," I say to Alice once Anubis leaves and Alice still has an angry look.
"I have had many visions of the future as Ra has. Each that has Anubis in them always ends with us losing the war with Chaos. They do not show why we lose, but I can only assume it has to do with him," Alice says with an agitated voice.
"So are you saying we should ignore him or what exactly? If we do not side with him we will have to fight him and as of now, we are unsure which Primordials with side with him. I do not think we can fight on too many fronts," I say to Alice trying to figure out how to deal with him.
"We could try tricking him, by saying we will side with him and ambush him with the other Egyptian gods. If we are able to beat him enough we can seal away him and his powers for a long time," Alice says stating her plan.
"While that sounds like a good plan, I am not sure how well it will proceed considering Anubis is no fool," I say sighing and rubbing my forehead.
"All we can do is try and unless you have a better idea, it's this, or we fight him and who knows who else," Alice says with a worried sigh.
"Ok, you talk with the Egyptian gods who we can trust here, and I will head to China to contact the Pantheon there," I say while standing and preparing to teleport to Beijing, China.
"Ok I will speak with some of them and once we have established a plan, I will meet you in Japan," Alice says standing and giving me a kiss goodbye before I teleport away.
Once I arrive in Beijing I see it is the busiest city on the planet most likely, maybe tied with Tokyo. Going to a local restaurant I sit down and order some food as I think on who to contact first here. As there are many gods in the Chinese Pantheon, over a hundred making them one of the largest pantheons. The ruler of the Pantheon is known as the 'Jade Emperor' and is a primordial who is just as strong as me. We are two of the strongest Primordials. I'm the Primordial of Death and winter, but my realm of Death is actually my stronger realm. The Jade Emperor is the Primordial of creation and warmth/summer, my opposite. The other Primordials like Anubis and Alice stand just below us, the difference very minuscule and some others much weaker than us, like the Mayan Primordial Ix Chel.
As I'm contemplating these thoughts and how to proceed and if I should just go to where the Jade Emperor is, I sense two powerful gods approaching me. Both are just as strong as Thor in strength, but I can tell they don't get along as they are bickering on their way over to me. The two are Sun Wukong the Monkey King and Xuanwu the True Warrior god. From what they are arguing over, Sun Wukong wants to play a prank on me, while Xuanwu distracts me and Xuanwu is not supporting that idea.
"Can you two stop arguing and tell me what I can do for you? I assume the Jade Emperor sent you both to bring me to him?" I say to them as they are walking toward me and Sun Wukong seems annoyed he didn't get to mess with me.
"Yeah, the big guy wants to talk with you. He is looking forward to meeting you it seems," Sun Wukong says to me while taking a seat at my table and picking at my food, much to Xuanwu's annoyance.
"It pains me to admit Sun Wukong is right, but the Jade Emperor would like to speak with you. Sorry for his..... careless attitude," Xuanwu says to me and bows at a ninety degree angle in apology. They are very opposite of one another it would seem, Sun Wukong is carefree and Xuanwu is very formal.
"Oh relax Yè liángchén, I'm a King like him and two Kings don't need to be so uptight around one another," Sun Wukong says waving off Xuanwu's apology, making Xuanwu give Sun Wukong a very angry look.
"You are too stupid at times! This is an Emperor like the Jade Emperor! The Emperor said himself that someone had finally reached his level and this is the being!" Xuanwu says gesturing to me, as I'm laughing on the inside at their bickering like an old married couple.
"Oh! Then accept my humble apology, Oh Great Emperor!" Sun Wukong says standing up and dramatically bowing to me several times mocking Xuanwu. In response, Xuanwu punches Sun Wukong on the head smashing him into the ground and cracking the ground with the impact. Making the mortals who didn't notice our presence jump up thinking an earthquake was happening.
"My father should have known to not send you both, neither of you gets along," Zhu Niang, the first daughter of the Jade Emperor and goddess of Fertility states sighing at what is happening.
"Princess Zhu Niang, I apologize for this unsightly behavior, as well to you King Hvítrnár," Xuanwu says once again bowing at a ninety degree angle to us both. Sun Wukong stands up and doesn't seem to care as he goes to sit back down. Though Xuanwu tries to grab him and force him to bow like him, Sun Wukong is very slippery, dodging away and hiding behind Zhu Niang.
"Not that this isn't fun watching you all, but I will meet the Jade Emperor now," I say before any more bickering can happen. Zhu Niang nods her head and opens a portal to where the many Chinese gods reside.
Walking inside it I can see a mountain range that peaks over clouds and on each mountain top are a large house for what I assume to be whatever god/goddess calls it home. In the center of all these Mountain tops is the largest mountain and at its peak is a very large and beautiful palace, where the Jade Emperor and his wife reside. I follow Zhu Niang across to the center palace, as we walk on the clouds themselves, with both Sun Wukong and Xuanwu right behind us.
Arriving at the Palace I can see many golden armored royal guards walking around, as Zhu Niang passes them they bow their heads in her direction. Walking inside the throne room I can see an elderly looking man on a golden throne, who has a long white beard and hair with a Jade Crown on his head. Next to the man on a similar golden throne is an elderly woman who has long white hair also, and a similar looking Jade crown on her head. The several golden armored guards inside stare at our approaching party as we enter the throne room.
"King Hvítrnár, it is nice to meet you finally," the Jade Emperor says in a very warm and gentle sounding voice as he stands up and walks over to me. Once in front of me holds his hand out for a handshake in greeting. For someone who is considered one of the most powerful beings in existence, he is one of the nicest ones I met. I shake his hand in greeting, as he smiles at me warmly.
"Come sit, we will feast and drink in your honor. Then we can discuss what it is that brings you here," the Jade Emperor says as golden chairs and tables appear in the throne room. He then claps his hands as several servants bring in food and drinks for the tables. Sun Wukong doesn't even wait and goes to sit, he then begins to eat and drink without waiting for anyone else.
After a very nice meal and watching how the Jade Emperor seems to look at everyone like a loving grandfather or in his children's place a father. I can see he genuinely cares about his people and is actually this kind, not just putting up a fake front. Being in his presence is very relaxing, I can only guess for those who don't know me feel the opposite. That would explain why gods feel nervous and fearful around me, as my presence alone releases an aurora of death.
"So what brings the Emperor of Death to the Kingdom of Life?" the Jade Emperor says to me with the same warm smile, once the meal ends. Though now everyone else tenses up hearing what he called me.
"I come to form an alliance with your people, for the war with Chaos that is coming. Plus maybe you can help us seal away Anubis as he is a possible thorn in our side. There is also a city I have built for all supernaturals to reside in peace on earth, away from the prying eyes and influence of humans," I say to him and can see a small spark of rage in his eyes at the mention of Chaos.
"Yes, I have known Chaos would try to eliminate us once Law slowly disappeared from us. I will help in all I can for this war, though about Anubis what exactly is the reason he should be eliminated?" the Jade Emperor asks me curiously.
"My wife as you know is the Primordial goddess of Foresight and darkness. She was able to see many futures where Anubis seems to be the reason we lose against chaos. Plus he wants to subjugate the Egyptian Pantheon, which may not be the best for us all," I say and the Jade Emperor goes silent as he thinks for a few moments.
"That is very concerning, I will assist you in dealing with Anubis, as Chaos must be stopped at all costs. The city intrigues me also, we would love to have a portion of the city also. Sun Wukong and Xuanwu will overlook the part of our section of the city," the Jade Emperor says and motions for them to leave to begin building their section.
"Sure thing Big man," Sun Wukong says before teleporting away to the city.
"I will ensure everything goes smoothly your Majesty," Xuanwu says bowing stiffly again before quickly teleporting after Sun Wukong.
"Father, why do you keep making those two work together? They are the opposite of one another," Zhu Niang says with a tired sigh.
"Zhu Niang, they are two of our best and work well together actually. Sun Wukong is the carefree wind of the two and Xuanwu is the one who ensures everything goes according to plan. They complete each other and it is fun seeing the two interact with one another," the Jade Emperor says with a chuckle.
"I agree it is fun seeing the two act like an older married couple," I say with a laugh too. The two women just shake their heads at us.
"I would like to meet your wife too, but that can wait for another time," the Jade Emperor says after we are done laughing.
"I will see if she is done what she is doing. She would love to see this place also," I say with a smile, before reaching out to Alice through our connection.
