章 34: Chapter 34: Ship of Fools

Red Myra fled across the cold expanse of space, and the wolf pack followed.

The tumbling ruins of the shattered moon lay straight ahead. Something had blown it to bits, presumably the same force that gutted the planet. This offered the pirates a slim advantage.

If Red Myra could make it to the shoals, her smaller size and better maneuverability might give her just enough of an edge against the massive warships hunting her.

Pampaa, clinging to the pirate ship's outer hull, couldn't care less about any of that. He was exhausted, injured, and far too old to be hanging around outside all day.

He needed a way inside.

The wolf pack, perhaps seeing Red Myra's chance of escaping, launched a swarm of snub fighters. At short range, they moved fast enough to catch Red Myra in moments.

Screaming in, the snub fighters peppered the pirate ship with blaster fire and mini-rockets.

The ship shuddered.

Pampaa held on for dear life.
