-Hito-
"Oh.." After learning what exactly the seal on his hand could do, he felt a mild disgust at such a thing, because this command seal could control someone, against their own will.
While it's limited, there's no denying the cruelty of such a seal. He could command her 3 absolute things, no matter what it is, as long as it's a specific command.
Caster would obey without a fight, she even said that if he command her to commit suicide, she would do it and wouldn't be able to stop it.
That's how powerful this seal was, he may not be the nicest person, which was proven when he committed a slaughter feast with the Eldian Tribe.
He wasn't the type of person that forces anyone to do something they are unwilling to, and that's why he disliked this seal, however, he can't do anything about it for now, as he didn't really have enough knowledge to remove it without removing his contract with Caster.
And without their contract as a master and servant, she wouldn't be able to manifest in this world, she needed his prana to survive. That's why he should tolerate this seal for now because he swore that he won't be using it.
"Now you understand the gravity of what your hand is holding," Caster said with a grim tone.
"I understand, so that's why I promise you that I would never use this command seal." Hito was serious when he declared that.
However, Caster let out an annoyed huff, clearly not believing his declaration. "Master, you shouldn't make promises that you can't fulfill."
Hito didn't know what to say, he was being truthful with his claim, and he intended to do what he promised, still, he was curious as to why his servant seemed to have major trust issues.
He wondered what kind of life she led for her to have trust issues as big as this one. She explained that she's a heroic spirit, a hero of the past, someone who achieved a great deed and was recorded in history.
Caster, if her class was an indication of who she is, then she's a mage, a powerful one, there are a handful of female sorceresses throughout history.
Learning her identity wouldn't be easy, but he'll try to figure it out at least, he wasn't Sherlock Holmes, he didn't have the ability to find clues and identify the problem at an inhumane speed.
He'll do it at his own pace, hopefully, he'd be able to figure out her name, if not then at least he tried.
"I know, that's why I'm fulfilling it." He answered.
Caster didn't say anything for a moment and just replied. "If you say so."
Yep, she clearly doesn't believe it, not that it matters, since she won't believe him through words, then he'll do it in his actions.
Hopefully, she'll realize that.
Shaking his head and saying. "Anyway, I'm going to go back home, I'll see you soon I guess?"
"Wait, master, why are you speaking as if we're going into a separate place?" Caster said with a frown[?] or at least what he imagined she was making inside her hood.
"Eh? Aren't we not going separate ways?" Hito blinked and was a bit confused.
Caster suddenly pinched the bridge of her nose and answered. "No, we are not. I'm a servant and you are my master, what's the point of the contract if the servant isn't close to the master? Besides with our connection, I can't be too far away from you or else the prana that you're feeding me would be cut off.'
"Oh."
—
On his way back home, he was stealing a glance at Caster, when he decided to help her, he did not expect this at all, after all, he became her master so that she would live, and after that, they'd go on a separate way, but clearly, he was wrong regarding that.
Clearly, it was just him assuming, anyway this is a problem, a really big one, bringing Lumine was a special case, he lucked out with his parents with her.
Since he didn't need to explain much about her situation, however, now with Caster, he wasn't sure how his parents would react.
Caster noticed his gaze toward her and said. "What's the matter, master?"
"Ah, well…I'll be honest with you Caster, I don't know how to explain your situation to my parents," Hito said with a weary smile on his face.
"Your parents?" Caster frowned and continued. "Why would you need to explain my situation to your parents?"
"Huh? It's because you'll be living with us, I mean I need to explain the reason why you're staying with me." He replied while scratching his left cheek.
"That's simple, you don't need to," Caster stated.
"Huh? But, how would-"
He was suddenly cut off by Caster, who cut him off with a frustrated voice. "You don't need to explain about me to your parents, it's absolutely unnecessary. I can take care of it."
"And how exactly are you going to achieve that?" He asked curiously.
Caster suddenly smirked and replied. "Hypnosis."
That's…
He wasn't sure what to think about it, while it's a good solution, he didn't want Caster to hypnotize his parents.
Hito wouldn't be able to stomach it, knowing his parents were being hypnotized in front of him.
"No, I don't want you to hypnotize my parents," Hito said with a hardened look.
Caster raised her brow for a bit and then said. "Fine, if that's what you want master then I suppose I'll follow your order, anyway I'd suggest another way and it doesn't have anything to do with hypnotizing your parents."
"And that is?"
"Being in my astral form."
Hito was unfamiliar with that term, he had no idea what it means or what it does, he looked at her and she realized that she needed an explanation of what it is.
Caster let out a sigh and then started explaining what an astral form is in an oversimplified way.
—
"I see, that's a very useful skill to have," Hito admitted it was such a handy ability, still why haven't she mentioned it earlier, if she did he wouldn't have to think hard of what to explain to his parents of why he brought another woman at their house.
"It is." Caster nodded in agreement, though it was too bad that she can't use it while fighting or else it would have been an easy feat to kill the other servants without them knowing.
After that Hito went home along with a dematerialized Caster by his side.
—
"I'm finally home," Hito said it took another train and bus ride to arrive, along the way he also got to know about the telepathy communication they have.
It's also a convenient way to talk with Caster in her astral state, meaning there wouldn't be a situation where he would look like a crazy dude talking with the air.
He started knocking on the door, and after that, his sister opened the door and greeted him with her signature smile. "Onii-chan you're back! So how's your trip to your friend's house? Did you enjoy it?"
Unconsciously he touches the cheek that was kissed by Nishimiya.
"Yeah, I did." He truly did, the birthday party might be simple but he enjoyed the Nishimiya family company.
"That's great." Hitomi was happy for her brother.
Then Lumine arrived, and all of a sudden he felt Caster panicking through their connection.
She was screaming at their link. 'T-that person! A Divine Spirit?! H-how is her kind still alive?! The age of gods has already ended!'
He couldn't but flinch hearing Caster screaming in their link, then he thought. 'What the hell is a divine spirit anyway?'
Hito didn't mean to let Caster hear his thoughts, but she did anyway and she answered furiously at their telepathic link.
'Fool! A Divine Spirit is a God! But more importantly, why is her kind in your home?!' Caster was having a heart attack at the moment.
Hito blinked at the information and replied back. 'You're telling me that Lumine is a God?'
'Yes!' Caster replied without hesitation.
Then Lumine's gaze shifts toward where Caster was standing in her astral form, her eyes narrowed in Caster's direction.
A moment after, she shifted her attention to Hito, the look on her face was clearly saying. 'What's going on?'
Lumine realized that he had something to do with their uninvited 'guest', as she probably saw the link between them.
'I'll explain later.' Hito stares back at her, hoping that she'd understand his silent message.
Thankfully she did and decided to stay silent about what she learned.
However, Caster was still horrified at the revelation that a goddess still lives in the current era.

Honestly, I have writer's block, it's a miracle that I managed to finish this, truth be told I wasn't meant to finish this but I did anyway.
And how did I finish this? Simply through the red bull, I thought it would be a good idea to drink one and it might remove my writer's block.
However, it didn't, it just made me too 'energetic'.
Let me know if something is amiss and also give me an idea of what the next part is going to be, I might like your suggestions.
