Gemma's eyes welled with tears as she walked out of the hotel. This past few days she has been trying her best not to allow herself feel sad or cry over the loss of the pregnancy. Ever since she moved back into the house, she has been avoiding the baby's room. Going there brought way too many sad memories, sad memories that she was trying to push away and forget.
When she was coming to this party, she knew people were going to ask her about the pregnancy, as a lot of the people in her circle knew about her being pregnant. And she hoped and prayed that they will not.
"Why can't people just learn to mind their own damn business?!" She murmured as she angrily wiped tears from her eyes.
"Gem, I'm sorry," Miguel said in a cool tone. He reached out and placed his arm around her shoulders.
