When Xuanyuan Xiang'er arrived at the meeting place, Mo Tian was already waiting for her there. Yet, he was unaware that Feng Ruxue and the others were following her because of Ling Xi.

Xuanyuan Xiang'er then landed before him and asked. "What happened? Why did you suddenly call me to come here?"

"What do you know about those war preparations?" Mo Tian asked without beating around the bush.

"War?" Xuanyuan Xiang'er asked with feigned surprise. "Which war are you referring to? I haven't heard any news about it, especially since I haven't been in the clan for quite some time."

"Hmm? Why did you leave the Xuanyuan Clan? Didn't I order you to keep an eye on Xuanyuan Xue'er?" Mo Tian asked with a frown.

Xuanyuan Xiang'er sighed softly and explained to him. "Xue'er gave me an assignment, so I left our clan, for I can't possibly go against her orders."
