章 45: Chapter 44

My heart races as the hand rest beneath my breasts. I freeze, looking down at the red, gloved hand. Without any fear, I lay my hand on the stranger's hand. There is something comforting about the unknown person. We begin to sway to the music the piano is still playing.

I close my eyes, leaning my head against the dark figure's chest, and a smile is now on my face as we continue to dance.

Why do I feel safe? I don't know why, but I do.

The person removes my bun, my hair falling down my back. My dance partner runs their fingers down the side of my neck. He continues to travel down my arm, resting his hand on mine.

I put my hand up and behind him to grab the back of the person's neck. I feel their rapid breathing on my neck, making me open my eyes. I desperately need to know who this person is!

My mysterious dancer stops moving and grabs my hand, causing me to turn toward them.

It's the hidden figure that was playing the piano!
