And yet, Alwin was acting so nonchalantly about it.

"You really underestimate how much your uncle loves you," Raymond sighed. 

"He just wants me to pass on his work to me," Alwin muttered.

He had begun to realize that he was indeed cherished by his uncle much more than he thought but he was shy about it so he was trying to deny it.

"Anyway, is the situation in the Alba Estate? You had to fight as well and even a giant tree and vines were only able to stop them temporarily. It must be quite a mess," Raymond said as he glanced at Alwin's bloodied cloak with a look of disapproval in his face.
