Ferdinand straightened up since it was closely related to their situation.

"The princess fell in love with him too but cannot marry him because he had no rank or title. Thus, he became a king in order to marry her. But the princess and everyone else discovered he was the last dragon alive."

Ferdinand gulped and turned tense as he awaited what Arabella would say next.

"Dragons were feared since they were too strong and dangerous to humans. So the princess' parents were against the marriage. The princess hesitated too since the dragon might hurt her and her family someday."
