章 1002: Hazriel's Request

Once Max came out of his seclusion and had attended the most pressing affairs that had been piling since his absence, Hazriel confronted her husband to express the issues cluttering her mind.

" Max-" she said in her usual soft voice as she saw how her husband's distracted face suddenly lit up with a smile when he heard her call his name.

Looking towards her with the most loving red eyes, Max replied " Yes, love?" As Hazriel could not help but blush at his antics.

Sometimes, Hazriel could not understand how anyone could feel intimidated by Max as when he acted silly he looked the same as a harmless puppy, however, she had also seen the cruelty those same red eyes were capable of and hence she knew why his enemies feared him.
