Seeing the ducks fill in the battlefield was pure joy for Max. 

The ducks were the pet of the current strongest man in the entire true elites guild, whose arrival signified that guildmaster Neatwit was personally in the house! 

As the Mercenary side of the battlefield descended into pure chaos, attracting one nature's calamity after another, Max felt glee fill his heart as for the first time since the old man had painted the picture of the mad strategy in front of him, Max genuinely began to believe that they could win. 

" BLOODFALL CLAN, STOP RUNNING! TURN AROUND AND BE PREPARED FOR THE FINAL CHARGE! TODAY WE ROUTE THE MERCENARIES" Max shouted as the energy behind his voice depicted the whole story. 

Max was charged, he felt hopeful and his voice inspired his troops to feel hopeful.
