章 170: A story

" No- you're lying! "

Max could just not believe that his brother was dead, much less killed by the Universal Queen. 

The werewolf on earth claimed that he was killed by Lucifer, but Ruby said it was the universal queen hence Max strongly believed there was something fishy with the story and that nobody really knew the truth.

Max had seen Rudra's rise to prominence as a kid, he had seen his brother slay one opponent after another and make entire armies tremble when he marched against them alone. 

Nobody was as strong as his brother in his mind and nobody was capable of defeating him, Max was sure of it. 

Max did not understand exactly when it happened, but a streak of tears went down his chin, although his heart did not want to believe the news he had just heard, his mind reacted strongly to it. 

" What exactly happened? " Max asked in a broken voice as he wished to hear the exact details of his brother's death.
