I decided to skip most of his time at war and only come back to it in flashbacks when he is remembering someone, or having a PTSD attack.

[United states navy base in Iraq]
It has been about 3 months since I joined seal team six, and I have seen/done things that no man should ever had to do, on my first day out on a support mission I had to stop a child that was carrying a rocket shell in his hand, I prayed that he would stop but he didn't so I did what had to be done.
That is just one of many things I have had to do, but it's not all bad on my first day being deployed a red screen appeared in front of me.

I was skeptical at first but started to remember how during my days during training how every now and then I would here a ding and I would feel stronger or replenished.
That was about 3 months ago and now i finally completed the mission I was gonna go back to base and see what to do, but as I was about to leave I hear 2 whimpers behind me.
I turn around and see two black sable German Shepard puppy's.
I lean down and pick up both puppy's.
In my left hand is a black German Shepard with almost fire like highlights all over his body. I will call you Blitz

In my right hand is a black German shepherd with colored feet and a spot on his chest, I will call you Ghost.

I start to walk back to my squad, and when I get there they all look at me with a curious expression.
"Yo Spartan, where the fuck did you find two purebred German Shepherd's?" One of the soldiers ask.
I forgot to mention that mostly everyone calls me Spartan, evidently there was game or something that came out a couple months ago and the soldiers in the game are enhanced and I remind them of these so called Spartans.
"I just found them on the street, I'm gonna keep them."
"Whatever you say Spartan, anyways we should start to head back, "The Legend" is supposed to be stationed with us.

"The Legend just like me is very well known, we are both tied in confirmed kills, I am known for the most absolute accuracy, while he is known for being able to hit insanely long shots.
[2 hours later back at base.]
I first walk into the kennels and ask the dog trainer to wash them and get them some food and water.
I then walk out and head to the mess hall, a mess hall is a place where officers can eat separately from all the grunts, I go here just to get some silence and think about my actions of the day and ask God for forgiveness. Yes I am a officer now over the past couple of months I have risen to the rank of E-6, Petty Officer First Class.
I sit down and start to eat and think about life when all of a sudden I feel someone walk behind me.
"Yo Spartan." someone asks from behind me, I turn around and see a big buff guy with a beard just like mine.

"Hey, Chirs Kyle." he says extending his hand.
"Colt Evans." I say shaking his.
"Raheem told me to say hi, we have been getting deployed a lot and he just wanted you to know that he is grateful for what you did that day."
"Is he okay?" I ask.
"It's war man, some guys take it differently. He is doing better but at first it hit him hard."
"Shit."
We both ended up getting to know each other pretty well one so-called "Legend" to another.
May 2, 2011.
Me and 8 others are now in a Boeing CH-47 Chinook, heading to Abbottabad Pakistan, we have located where Osama bin Laden has been hiding and we are going to end this once and for all, everyone is silent even ghost and Blitz are silent laying at my feet.

I see the pilot look back and hold 5 fingers letting me know that we have 5 minutes left.
*KSSH*
"Coms check." I say into the mic.
"All good sir."
"5 minutes, we are gonna be going into an extremely hostile environment, don't forget that feeling of when those towers were hit, dig deep and remember that feeling, because today is the day we will end the man responsible for those tragedies, there is a chance that we will not walk away from this, as your captain and your brother I promise that if something happens to you, you will make it back to your families." I say as the helicopter starts to land.
"Almighty God, Who art the Author of liberty and the Champion of the oppressed, hear our prayer.
We, the men of the Special Forces, acknowledge our dependence upon Thee in the preservation of human freedom.
Go with us as we seek to defend the defenseless and to free the enslaved.
May we ever remember that our nation, whose motto is "In God We Trust," expects that we shall acquit ourselves with honor, that we may never bring shame upon our faith, our families, or our fellow men.
Grant us wisdom from Thy mind, courage from Thine heart, strength from Thine arm, and protection by Thine hand.
It is for Thee that we do battle, and to Thee belongs the victor's crown. For Thine is the kingdom, and the power and glory, forever, AMEN." I say as we get off the helicopter and the moment we do gunfire erupts.
2 months later.
Boden POV.
I'm looking out the window thinking about how I messed up when I hear someone walk in, I look over and see Donna.
"Donna." I say as a smile comes to my face.
She looks nervous and starts to walk closer.
"W-Wallace I owe you an Explanation." she says.
"No, No, No, I owe you an explanation." I say but before I could finish she said.
"Please just listen, you need to understand where my head is at. When you pulled the plug on our relationship I had to assume that I would never see you again.
So umm, I need you to imagine how tough it's been this past week." She says while I start to get closer to her.
She paused.
"Especially when I found out I am carrying your baby." I step back, a feeling of hurt and love both hit me I felt bad because I abandoned her when she needed me.
We talk about it a little more, I had to let her know that I am happy for a baby.
We decided to call all of 51 and have them meet at Molly's to tell them the good news.
1 hour later.
Donna and I are now standing in front of 51 at Molly's.
"Why did you tell us to meet you here, you sounded pretty urgent?" Casey asks.
"So we have big news we our having a-" as I was about to tell them the door opens and two dogs walk in followed by a man that looks oddly familiar.
Everyone turns around to see who it was.
Herman noticed that we didn't know who he was and started to walk over to him to ask him to leave, dogs aren't around in the bar.
"I'm gonna have to ask you to leave." Herrmann says.
The man raises his head and starts to smile.
"It's only been a couple of years and you already forgot about me Boden." As soon as I hear his voice it rings a bell in me, and I say.
"Colt?"
