Marvina pranced towards her and sat at the bed edge. "Why would you say that? Your confidence should have skyrocketed by now because you got yourself a handsome man, the one who we bailed out before."

"Heh, even before I met him, my confidence had reached rock bottom. Plus, I have no intention to have a match with Mira in the first place."

"Your boyfriend can be your weapon. You can show him off to her. At least, you got to show Mira and the rest that everything they assumed about you was wrong."

Jennet scoffed. "Pfft, I would never show my husband to anyone," she announced.
